Cleanliness – eVa As the only head in the world, it offers automatic focusing and diameter change of the laser beam without the use of moving parts and drives in the beam path. The most common cause of laser head failures is contamination from moving parts. Our solution eliminates this problem and significantly extends the lifetime of the optics and the head itself.
Wear parts – The entire head contains only three optical elements, two lenses and one safety glass to protect the lenses from contamination in the cutting process. The minimum amount of optics affects the reliability of the head, minimises Focus shift and guarantees low maintenance costs.
Protective glass is placed 355 mm above the workpiece. The distance between the protective glass and the cutting process is the most important parameter determining the frequency of the safety glass change. The longer the distance, the less often the glass is changed. In the eVa head this distance is the largest of all heads available on the market.
Service – the eVa is the only laser head available on the market that can be fully serviced on the customer’s machine. Any head failure can be remedied during one service visit. There is no need to dismantle the damaged head and install a new head while the damaged one is being repaired.
Protection – the head has a patented collision protection that automatically switches off the drives in case of a collision. Overload protections ensure that the support stops, reducing the likelihood of head damage. Thanks to the protections, 90% of failures resulting from a collision can be avoided.
Automatic Focusing – this function allows the machine control to set the focal length automatically. It reduces the time needed to adjust the focal length to a given thickness of material and its type, facilitates the operator’s work and significantly accelerates the firing process.
AC – Automatic centering, collision avoidance system – The automatic centering system and collision avoidance system increase both the efficiency and safety of the machine and reduce the cost of possible collision damage.
ANC 36, ANC 72 – Automatic Nozzle Changer – The Automatic Nozzle Changer increases the productivity of the machine and allows it to run unmanned for hours including night shifts and weekends. The magazine is equipped with 36 or 72 nozzles, which are necessary for maintenance-free machine operation. The nozzles can be reused and stored in the magazine for reuse. Nozzle replacement time is only 25 seconds, which is the best result in the industry.
